Jon

Rock on everyone, This is Jon!!!

I was born into a Christian family In Montrose, Michigan. I had a normal childhood (for a preacher's son) but I still had my problems.

And not so many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

Luke 15:13

At a very  young age I suffered from depression, to the point of considering suicide. At  the age of fourteen, I began experimenting with various drugs which took me to the lowest point of my life. I realized that, instead of making me feel better, the drugs really made me feel worse. I felt like I had nothing left in my life.

   17. And when he came to himself, he said,  How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

   18. I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

Luke 15:17-18

When I was about eighteen I was in church,  the pastor stated; "I feel like someone here is having trouble with drugs." I don't know how, but my cousin knew it was me. The Lord began to deal with me and that same day I went to the altar. While praying, I began to cry out to God; "Please forgive me, come into my life, and help me change what I am doing."

For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

Luke 15:24

At twenty-one I moved to Front Royal, Virginia. I met Jeff, Carla, and their family. Jeff began to teach me how to play the bass, then I joined Remembrance. I'm no longer doing drugs, I'm living a Christian life, and life is good, not without problems, but I know the solution.

   Oh yeah, ROCK ON!!!!!!!
